Malleshwaram
Malleshwaram Bangalore, or Malleshwara, is one of the oldest towns and a well-planned locale. It is in the northwest part of the city. It has obtained its name from the famous Kaadu Malleshwara temple. Its founder was the first Vice Chancellor of Mysore University, H. V. Nanjundaiah, who was the Dewan of Mysore of that period.
