The garden has different timings for morning walkers and regular visitors. Morning walkers can enter from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM & again from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. For regular visitors, the garden is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The entry fee is Rs 25 for adults on regular days. Children under 12 years can enter for free. During special events like the flower show, the entry fee is Rs 60.

The garden is located in South Bangalore. The address is 20/1, Krumbigal Road, Upparahalli, Mavalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 5600041. If you are coming by metro, the nearest station is Lalbagh Metro Station on the Green Line. From there, it is a short walk to the garden.

Flower Show

Lalbagh Botanical Garden is famous for its flower shows. These shows happen twice a year, on Republic Day (January 26) and Independence Day (August 15). During the flower show, you can see many beautiful flowers arranged in different designs. It is a popular event, and many people come to see it.

  9. Turn left onto HAL Old Airport Rd/Marathahalli Main Rd/Varthur Main Rd/Whitefield Main Rd.
  10. Continue to follow HAL Old Airport Rd/Marathahalli Main Rd/Varthur Main Rd.
  11. Pass by State Bank of India (on the left in 550m) - 3.1 km.
  12. Continue straight - 350 m
  13. Merge with HAL Old Airport Rd/Marathahalli Main Rd/Varthur Main Rd
  14. Continue to follow Varthur Main Rd - Pass by TRENDS (on the left)- 3.7 km.
  15. At HAL Junction, continue onto HAL Old Airport Rd/Madivala Machideva Rd - 1.4 km.
  16. Keep right to continue on HAL Old Airport Rd - Pass by the petrol pump (on the left in 1.6 km) - 2.9 km.
  17. Slight right to stay on HAL Old Airport Rd - 2.6 km
  18. Continue onto Sri Thyagi M Palanivelu Rd - 1.1 km
  19. At Adarsh Opous, continue onto General KS Thimayya Rd Pass by Reliance Trends (on the left) - 1.3 km.
  20. Continue straight - 650 m
  21. Continue onto Kengal Hanumanthaiah Flyover - 400 m
  22. Merge with Double Rd/Kengal Hanumanthaiah Rd - Pass by Corporation Bank Shantinagar Branch (on the left) - 650 m
  23. Continue straight to stay on Double Rd/Kengal Hanumanthaiah Rd.

  25. At KH Circle, take the 3rd exit onto Hosur Main Road Pass by Al-Ameen Pre-University College (on the right in 350m) - 650 m
