Bangalore Metro Timings

The Bangalore Metro operates from Monday to Saturday, from 5 AM to 11 PM on week day. It operates from 6 AM to 10:30 PM. on government holidays. On Sundays, the Metro service is from 7 AM to 11 PM.

Bangalore Metro Fare

The Metro fare is based on the distance traveled, ranging from Rs. 10 to a maximum of Rs. 45 for a ticket. Namma Metro offers 1-day, 3-day, and monthly passes. The pass costs Rs. 200 to 400 for daily travel and Rs. 1000 to 3000 for monthly travel.

Bangalore Metro App

The Namma Bangalore app allows users to buy QR tickets. The list of metro stations is there on the app. The app displays the QR code, eliminating the need for physical tickets. Upon reaching the station, passengers can tap their smartphones at the QR-enabled Fare Collection gates. It allows seamless entry into the station without the hassle of queuing at ticket counters.

• Purple Line – It is the first metro line with 37 stations.
• Green Line - It is the second line on metro routes that has 29 stations.
• Yellow Line - The upcoming line will cover 18 km and will run with 16 stations.
• Blue line - It will cover 58.10 km with 30 stations.
• Pink Line - It will have 18 stations, and some of the lines will be underground.
• Orange line - It will connect Phase 2A and Phase 3A and will be functional from 2028 to 2029.
